Massive crowds of Israelites dismantle their tents as the pillar of cloud rises to lead them forward to another location during the 40 years in the wilderness. The atmosphere is one of weary anticipation and divine guidance across the vast desert landscape, murmuring and complaining, over the many moves and the the conditions that they were not happy about, but all of this was the result of their disobedience and rebellion.
