Believing leads to Seeing and Understanding
Carla Hepker@Cehepker
Jesus joined the couple on the road to Emmaus but the Bible says that their eyes were holden or restrained and they did not recognize Jesus. If they had recognized Him immediately, they would have been thrilled to have Jesus, the Man. But God/Jesus had more for them. Jesus shared with them, from Scripture, about Himself: The Promise in the Garden, His Identity as a Baby, His Suffering as the Messiah, and His kingship. When we Believe God will reveal Himself to us in our walks with Him.
