The staff stood in panic as the children waited quietly at the tables. But George Müller simply said: “Set the table as usual.” Then George Müller stood before the children, bowed his head, and prayed: “Dear Father, we thank You for the food You are going to give us.” Moments later, there was a knock at the door. A baker stood outside carrying trays of warm bread. “Mr. Müller,” he said, “something kept telling me you would need bread this morning. I woke at 2 a.m. and baked enough for every child.”
